Content This course offers advanced insights into entrepreneurship research focusing on selected topics in this domain, e.g., startup-corporate collaboration, social entrepreneurship, and effectuation. The participants will have the opportunity to develop and address a research question using current qualitative research methods. In their seminar essay and presentation, students will present their research findings in written and oral form.

Course Objectives

After participating in this course, students are able to:

  1. develop a research question and conceptual model pertaining to a topic from the field of entrepreneurship
  2. work scientifically using current qualitative research methods
  3. write a short research paper in form of an essay in English
  4. present their research by means of a scientific presentation in English
Required Pre-Qualifications

(1) Solid command of English
(2) Basic knowledge of Entrepreneurship
(3) Active participation during sessions
(4) Willingness to engage in comprehensive literature research
(5) Exchange and Erasmus students are cordially invited to apply for participation in this course

Methodology The participants will learn and use qualitative research methods in a reflective and structured manner to analyze and discuss important concepts and phenomena in entrepreneurship research.
